With a background in Industrial Design and years of professional training in gold and silversmithing, Mehrnoosh brings a deep understanding of form, function, and structure to each piece she creates. Her work has been exhibited internationally in Australia, the United States, Italy, and Japan, reflecting a global appreciation for the depth, intricacy, and emotional resonance of her jewellery.

Mehrnoosh works with rare techniques such as plique-à-jour enamel, hand fabricating, and precision casting. These delicate, time intensive processes require patience and reverence, qualities that define both the pieces themselves and the spirit in which they are made. Every detail is intentional. From Conformity to Creation

Mehrnoosh’s path began in Iran, where the brilliance of women was often overshadowed by societal expectations. As a reflective and creative soul, she felt the weight of those constraints. But through a quiet rebellion, through art, truth seeking, and relentless self discovery, she began to reconnect with the depth of her own voice and the beauty of her Persian heritage.

When she migrated to Australia, she felt as though her soul had remained in Iran, wandering through centuries old palaces, marvelling at stained glass windows, and soaking in the rhythm of Persian poetry and architecture. In her longing to hold onto that beauty, she began translating it into jewellery. Her pieces became a way of preserving not only memory but identity, infusing every curve and symbol with emotional and cultural meaning.

SOVRAN was born from this deeply personal journey. It is rooted in the belief that every woman holds an inner sovereignty: the power to define herself, to honour her truth, and to shape her own mythology. These pieces are not accessories.
